While some shun magic and others pay tribute to the Keeper, Idris must come to terms with his past and the town that banished him as a child. Will he forgive the people who caused him such pain? Or let revenge and hatred burn, and corrupt this wizards’ heart? An original fantasy story about magic, monsters and the cost of forgiveness.
Embers is a new fantasy story about magic, monsters and the cost of forgiveness. At its core if a forced friendship between Idris and Sigrid, as they try to save the townspeople of Wispmire from a fire demon. But who created this demon? Where did it come from? It’s a story full of twists and turns, as our two heroes get wrapped up in the dark history of the town and begin to question if everyone deserves to be saved.
Idris has another adventure in my book Candles and is joined by his talented apprentice Ava. The two of them find themselves exiled from their home and try to save it from a nature plague, called Dark-bark. Embers is a little darker than Candles, but both can be read separately and in any order. There’s more story to tell and Idris is at the heart of it.
Embers will be the first, of a two-part, graphic novel series. Now the artwork is complete, this Kickstarter is to fund the print run of the first book, while I start artwork production on book two at the end of 2026.
