Titan Comics is pleased to reveal the trailer for War of the Worlds: Thunder Child, a gripping graphic novel set parallel to the events of H.G. Wells’ legendary science-fiction classic.
From the minds of writers Matthew Hardy and Rob Jones, and brought to life by artist Kevin Castaniero, War of the Worlds: Thunder Child delivers a dramatic and terrifying new perspective on the Martian invasion.
The story follows the crew of the ironclad torpedo ram, HMS Thunder Child, as they navigate strange occurrences in the early days of the invasion. As civilisation teeters on the brink, the crew must confront both an unstoppable extraterrestrial threat and the growing tensions within their own ranks.
This thrilling and blood-soaked tale of sacrifice, conflict, and heroism builds toward the Thunder Child’s legendary final stand against the invaders from Mars — marking the first chapter in a bold new take on a beloved classic, with its own unique cast and story to tell.
War of the Worlds: Thunder Child will be available June 2, 2026, and is now open for pre-order from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Forbidden Planet for the UK & Europe.
