Even the Stars Will Fall is an original Afro-Futurist tale that explores what happens when family secrets, imperial advances, and the tension between tradition and modernity all collide.
We follow Miki Rol as she is finally being inducted into The Choir of Ta’ad R’we, the sect of warrior-spiritualists who protect the grand city-state of Ara. But little does she know that forces are moving in the background which threaten to change her way of life.
Just my personal two cents, Even the Stars Will Fall is a sharply told, beautifully illustrated story. There’s all the character built into it, with clever dialogue and believable people populating it, enough for anyone to fall into and enjoy. So much so that I’m not just some emotional support, I’m also a backer!
