As long as there have been Spider-fans, there have been swarms of rumors as to who will be this next generation’s Spider-Man. Heck, I remember back in the late 80’s when the rumor mill around the comic shop is it was going to be Tom Cruise. And if fans are able to block out the crowded nightmare that was #3, I think Tobey Maguire did an outstanding job as “my generation”‘s Spidey. Now Columbia Pictures has put the responsibility on Andrew Garfield. While I am not that familiar with his work, he has gotten high-marked reviews from his work in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and Lions for Lambs. Check out his Imdb crib sheet here!
