(NASDAQ: HAS), revealed a first look at SABAN’S GO GO POWER RANGERS #23, by the acclaimed team of writers Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and Sina Grace (Ghosted in LA) and fan favorite artist Francesco Mortarino, revealing the essential next chapter in the epic Power Rangers event, Necessary Evil, arriving September 11, 2019.
As the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers struggle to save Angel Grove from the fearsome War Bunny without Jason, the Blue Emissary forces the Red Ranger to confront surprising villains from his Shattered Grid past and shocking Necessary Evil future—kicking off the events that will result in the creation of a brand new team with a secret mission to save the galaxy—the Omega Rangers!
SABAN’S GO GO POWER RANGERS #23 features a main cover by Ivan Shavrin (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), with variant covers by artists Miguel Mercado (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Johanna the Mad (Fence), and more.
Currently, Power Rangers is celebrating 26 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest running kids’ live-action series in television history with nearly 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the franchise celebrates its milestone anniversary year with the 26th season, “Power Rangers Beast Morphers” currently airing on Saturdays at 8 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon in the U.S.
