““I was very happy to be invited once more to Malta for their yearly Comic Art Show. The effort and thought that goes into the show from the very dedicated organizers is massive, and they cut no corners in making sure their guests are looked after and the show is as interesting and enjoyable for the public as possible. The venue for the show is unusual and pleasant to occupy, and gives the whole event an atmosphere of special quality – an artistic envelope to surround the artists who are exhibiting there.
The island, of course, is a great location for such a happening, and making a special point of telling everyone about it in the tourist information, both local and international, would be an excellent idea. Sequential art is one of the growing fields of art interest in the world for the public – even academic study of the form is on the increase – so it’s eminently sensible to follow that lead and encourage it’s exposure to new audiences.
I hope the event continues to thrive, and I look forward to coming back to Malta sometime in the future to attend another!” (David Lloyd, 2012)

“We are looking forward to welcoming talented artist Clint Langley to Malta, who on top of illustrating the awesome covers for Marvel’s popular titles such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Ghost Rider has also produced art for Warhammer, Magic the Gathering and World of Warcraft. This will certainly appeal to the strong fantasy fan base in Malta. When we started the Malta Comic Con one of our longer term goals was to make Malta a credible destination for comic symposium and Tasos Anastasiades is living proof that we have achieved this objective. Tasos who was amongst our guests last year returns to Malta after having co-organised the first Cyprus Comic Con earlier this year. We are proud to have inspired another Comic Convention in the Mediterranean and we look forward to exchanging ideas with Tasos and looking at the new material that he’ll be bringing with him this year. We are also looking forward to welcome talented Greek duo Yannis Roumboulias and Manos Lagouvardos who we are certain will be as successful as their follow countryman Michael Dialynas who will also be returning this year. The presence of these fine folk as well as that of the other guests has us all enthusiastically looking forward to the Malta Comic Con 2014 and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their participation and look forward to hosting them here” said Chris Le Galle co-founder of Wicked Comics.
