Thor #9

Thor #9 (Marvel – Straczynski / Coipel / Morales)

The smash-hit mega-sensation barrels on! After an astonishing two-part arc with art by none other than Marko Djurdjevic (DAREDEVIL), Asgard and its people have been fully restored…and now Thor can turn his attention beyond the shining city! Fan-favorite superstar Olivier Coipel makes his return to THOR to re-team with writer J. Michael Straczynski and make the Thunder God greater than ever!

Loki may be a hottie with a horned helm and fur lined panties, but he’s still up to his old tricks of manipulation and trickery. In this round, he’s targeted Balder in such a way that it may send ripples across Asgard. Thor has begun busying himself with transitioning his friends and subjects to the world of Earth, where he has spent so much time. I can’t imagine it’s an easy task to place a Viking warrior in the middle of modern day America and not have there be a few bumps. As Thor struggles to slowly introduce his countrymen in the modern world, some are impatient and have started to overstep their bounds. This issue also introduces what is sure to be a major conflict in the coming months.
