Annihilation Conquest: Wraith #1 (Marvel – Gilo-Marxuach / Hotz) – So, you guys remember last month when I said that I was really impresed with the Annihilation: Conquest story line? I still am, but these two tie-ins really didn’t grab me. Wraith by Javier Gilo-Marxuach (writer) and Kyle Hotz (Artist) of a Kree warrior who doesn’t seem to be quiet alive, but not dead either. Our undead Kree hero has powers to turn into a black cloud and he has a gun/whip. This first issue was mostly just him busting heads and taking names. At the end of the issue he’s at the feet of Ronan the Accuser, King of the Kree. I’m hoping that the next issue will have more substance.
