Written by Peter Milligan (Enigma, X‑Statix, Britannia) and brought to life with art by Piotr Kowalski (Where Monsters Lie, Bloodborne), colors from Brad Simpson (Kroma, Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.) and letters by Simon Bowland (The Boys: Dear Becky, Cry Havoc), this time‑bending thriller features Cover A by Kowalski and a striking Cover B by Brendan McCarthy (2000 AD, Strange Days).
When Aubrey Street arrives in 1891 looking for a feminist masterpiece that won’t be published for almost 100 years, she worries that 1981 might be rejecting her. Aubrey is a Liquidator—her job is to fix glitches in time. She just wishes she could fix the glitches in her life. In another part of Gilded Age New York, John Hawksmore plans to kill a servant girl whose life has been turned upside down by the book she found in her employer’s library. Somehow, all their lives are connected. They just don’t know it yet…
“If you’ve read my stories, you’ll know they’re populated by their fair share of the messed up, the troubled, and the sick at heart,” said writer Peter Milligan. “In Liquidator, these damaged fools find a home. To be a ‘Liquidator’ is to travel through time. And that messes you up. So maybe it helps to be a little messed up to begin with.
