Come celebrate with comiXology at Comic-Con International as they give away $10,000 worth of $5 Amazon Appstore credits toward comiXology content, host 8 panels where they will not only make and break news but also giveaway a handful of Kindle Fire HD and HDX devices, put a new graphic novel on sale every day for 45 cents, have art card signings at their booth all show long and even have an appearance by author George R.R. Martin!

July 21st, 2014 – San Diego, CA. / New York, NY. –  Join comiXology, the revolutionary digital comics platform, at this year’s Comic-Con International (Booth #2547) for giveaways, sales, signings and more at their booth, panels and at comiXology.com from July 23rd to July 27th at the San Diego Convention Center!

 
At their booth during Comic-Con International, comiXology will be handing out $10,000 worth of $5 Amazon Appstore credits that can be used toward comiXology content, while supplies last.

 

Once you’ve come by and picked up your credits, fans will be able to go to the side of the comiXology booth and take a picture of themselves in a comic book panel! A selection of word balloons will be available to choose from so all attendees can #comicbookurself and share the moment on their favorite social media channels.

 

During every one of the eight panels that comiXology is hosting at Comic-Con International this year, Kindle Fire HD and HDX devices will be given out to lucky attendees.

 

Fans attending the 45th year of Comic-Con International, and even all those that are not able to attend, can all celebrate together as comiXology will be offering a different graphic novel for sale each day of the show for 45 cents for that day only, here at http://comixology.tumblr.com/cci45.

 

 

ComiXology has also produced in conjunction with IDW Publishing, Fantagraphics Books, BOOM! Studios, Oni Press, MonkeyBrain Comics and Scholastic a series of exclusive art cards limited to only 100 to be given out at signings throughout the show. These super rare giveaways will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis during each signing.

 

 

These limited edition art cards will be signed and handed out free during appearances at the comiXology booth by Jaime and Gilbert Hernandez (Love and Rockets), Christopher Sebela and Ibrahim Moustafa (High Crimes), Ted Naifeh and Joëlle Jones (Princess Ugg), Coleman Engle and Jeremy Sorese (Steven Universe), John Barber and Tom Scioli (Transformers vs G.I. Joe), Ray Fawkes (The People Inside), Royden Lepp (Rust) and Kazu Kibuishi (Amulet).

 

 

On Sunday at 12:30pm, author George R.R. Martin and artist Mike S. Miller will be making a special appearance at the comiXology booth to promote and sign copies of The Hedge Knight: The Graphic Novel and The Sworn Sword: The Graphic Novel published by Jet City Comics. There will be 200 copies of The Hedge Knight: The Graphic Novel available for free, first-come, first-serve. Signing will be limited to these two titles.

 

And if that wasn’t enough, check out comiXology as they represent as part of the Amazon Geek Boutique at the Petco Park Interactive Zone. Open to the general public, the Amazon Geek Boutique will feature a 9 foot tall Transformer and giveaways hosted by Amazon Locker.
