We haven’t mentioned much of this yet, but more and more is starting to come out. Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead comic is being made into six-episode mini-series that will air on AMC this fall.
The Walking Dead is arguably the best comic out on the shelves right now. I’ve been reading it as it comes in trades, and every time I get a new one, I read it all in one sitting. It’s that good. The fact that his is coming to us as a mini-series is awesome. I hope it set up for each trade to be made into it’s own six-episode airing.

The six-episode first season — written, produced and directed by three-time Academy Award-nominee Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) — follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home after a zombie apocalypse.
