On October 7th, catch Adam Sandler as Hubie DuBois, the eccentric good-natured townsman, who after years of being the victim of the community’s most brutal pranks and torment around Halloween, finds himself in the middle of a real murder. As someone who has always loved Sandler’s films, I am especially excited to see him take on the Halloween scene with some classics by his side. If you are looking for a whole lot of laughs and a few scares, check out Hubie Halloween streaming exclusively on Netflix next month!

Based on the novel by Lein Reid, follow the twisted story of a woman visiting her boyfriend’s parents in a secluded farm up north amidst a terrible winter storm, when things go south. This psychological thriller not only consists of some of the most amazing cinematography I have seen in a long time, but beautifully captures the inner workings of the characters. It is hard to describe the rollercoaster that this movie takes you on, so I am going to let it speak for itself… You can stream it now on Netflix.

  1. The Mandalorian- Season 2 (Disney+)

Cast: Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin / The Mandalorian

This is the way… It’s finally here, the much anticipated season of The Mandalorian is coming October 30th. The trailer dropped today, and I must say that I am more hyped than ever and I cannot wait to see what adventures lie ahead for one of the cutest creatures in the galaxy. 1. On the Rocks (AppleTV+)

Looking for a break from the dark, spooky, or space adventures? Look no further than the new AppleTV+ original comedy starring no other than Bill Murray and Rashida Jones. The film follows a woman from New York and her eccentric father as they try to find out what her husband is really up to. I am a huge Bill Murray fan, so I always try to be optimistic when it comes to his releases. Even though this strays a bit from what I normally watch, I am excited to see if AppleTV+ pulls through with this one. You can stream it starting September 22nd.

  1. #Alive (Netflix)

Cast: Yoo Ah-In, Park Shin-Hye, and more.

Director: Il Cho

Genre: Horror/ Drama

Ever wonder what it’s like to live in an apocalypse? … Well, the movie is hitting home this year, but this zombie film is just what I needed to get ready for Halloween. This Korean lockdown film is directed by Cho Il-Hyung and follows a video game live streamer who must fight for his life as he fends off the apocalypse from his apartment. If you are looking for a great horror movie, I’d recommend giving #Alive a chance… streaming now.
