It may have been given the TV death slot of Friday at 7pm, but Smallville is still planning on a big season (and why not? CW signed off on the budget!) with the appearence of the JSA!
SciFi Wire and IGN are reporting the news that Michael Shanks, of “Stargate” fame, will play Hawkman in the Justice Society episode of “Smallville”. You may or may not know, that episode will be written by fan-favorite Geoff Johns.
BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!!
Also appearing? Dr. Fate! He’ll be played by actor Brent Stait, also known for his appearances in “Stargate”.
Also, Fancast has reported that Stargirl will appear in the episode played by actress Britt Irvin ( “Aliens in America”).
The episode titled “Society”, is scheduled for January. It will be directed by Glen Winter, who also directed the “Legion” episode. More JSAers are expected to appear as well.
