Doctor Who #4

Doctor Who #4 (of 6) (IDW – Russell / Smith)

Someone or something is removing the populations of entire planets. The Doctor and Martha must find out who, what and why, or Earth will be next!

Okay, if we were watching a Doctor Who episode, issue #4 is the 30-35 minutes of setting up of the problem and lead up to the big action sequence. I still love Doctor Who, still love this book, still love the art, still love IDW… in fact I still even love the BBC for being the home to such a great character for decades… BUT, this issue was sort of weak in action and detail. Not a great example of a stand alone issue, which is fine because that’s not it was written for. This was a precursor to the finale in issues #5 and 6. Come on IDW Bring it on!
