More is uncovered in the first adventure of the Alpha Lanterns. Where before is was somewhat unsure if the new ranking officers in the GL Corps kept their kept their personality…it turns out they do. This reveal continues to blur the likes between man and machine. Even with the cybernetic implants of Manhunter technology, it seems that not all of the volunteers personality is erased. I think this is going to play in later during the War of Light when some tough decisions are going to be made. Another interesting story nugget is how the lines of family and duty are going to be challenged as Bookikka now has a new partner, her sister Zale.
Close out this solid addition to the GL stable with a bit of fallout from last weeks Green Lantern issue concerning the appearance of the first Red Lantern and you close the back cover feeling satisfied.
